Meet the President: Jamellah Owens, M.Ed.
With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Jamellah Owens is on a mission to bridge the gap between foundational learning and modern innovation. As the founder of Growing to Lead Education Consulting, Jamellah believes that when we empower educators and families, we unlock the full potential of every child.
Jamellah’s unique expertise lies at the intersection of human connection and digital evolution. Holding a B.S. in Family Science from the University of Maryland and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Program Administration from Towson University, she recently expanded her toolkit with a Graduate Certificate in Learning Design and Technology.
Whether she is facilitating parenting workshops or leading professional development on technology integration, Jamellah is known for her "boots-on-the-ground" approach and her commitment to creating leaders in the classroom and beyond.

Growing to Lead specializes in providing approved training for child care centers and small businesses. We partner with state approved trainers who provide synchronous and asynchronous professional learning experiences. Through our training organization teachers and staff will have the opportunity to participate in high quality training from certified experts in the early learning community. Implementation services will be available for interested programs.
